Gedney Lake
One of the best places to study nature in Muscatine, Gedney Lake is in the state of Iowa's designated area of interest for reptile and amphibian study. Its 18 acres lie in the Cedar River floodplain and feature wetland and riverine timber.

It's a great fishing hole and has an old highway bridge that is open to foot traffic.No motor vehicles are allowed on the area.
